[Review+Swatch] Seche Perfectly Poised Spring 2014 Shade Review

Hi all! Today I have half of the new spring 2014 Seche Perfectly Poised collection up for review. The other three you can see here in the press release.

Head To Toe, 2 coats: fairly neutral nude creme. On me it runs just slightly cool and pink, but otherwise it's almost neutral. It's still a flattering shade on me, so I think this would work across all skin tones. It should look especially awesome on fairer, cool skin tones. Formula-wise, it was spot on. The consistency was the perfect medium, offering great coverage while keeping everything smooth and even. Dry time is fast on this baby and offers a lovely, shiny finish.

Buttoned Up, 3 coats: lavender creme. In the bottle, you can see the glow of purple shimmer, but on the nail it's completely lost. This one wasn't as opaque as the nude, but the formula is still nice. You may be able to get away with two coats if you use thicker coats.

Keep It You, 2 coats: deep rose pink creme. Again, the lovely purple glow in the bottle doesn't translate onto the nails. A little disappointing in that respect, because I thought the shimmer in these made them more unique. However, the formula is again spot on - great consistency and excellent opacity.

Verdict: The formulas on these were impressive in all three areas: consistency, opacity, and dry time. The nude is especially nice as it runs fairly neutral. The only let down was that the purple shimmer in two of these polishes were not visible. Otherwise, these are a pleasure to apply and wear.
